Lancaster will welcome a semi-pro football team in 2012

The Lancaster, Ohio community will welcome a new football team to the area in 2012 with the debut of the Lancaster Sabers.
The Sabers will are a semi-pro football team that will start their season in the spring of 2012 in the city of Lancaster, Ohio, and will be playing for the NFFL. The team will announce where its home games will be played  in the next few weeks.

The team is owned and Operated by Joey Markwell and Managed by Roger Atwood and Garrett Newsome. David Hannah will serve as Head coach and be assisted by coaches Mike Clark, Nathan Speelman, Michael Rife. Jason Walbridge will be involved all web design and Internet Marketing, Cindy Dennison will be handling all sale and marketing for the team, and Anthony Guerra is the teams Graphic artist. 

The team practices at General Sherman in Lancaster every Monday and Thursday at 4:30
