Lancaster welcomes a new Minor League football team this Spring

The Lancaster, Ohio community will welcome a new football team to the area with the debut of the Lancaster Sabers.
The Sabers are a Minor League team that will start their season in the spring of 2012 in the city of Lancaster, Ohio, and will be playing for the NFFL. The team has announced that their home games will be played at Fisher Catholic High School
The team is owned and Operated by Joey Markwell and Managed by Kyle Webb, and Roger Atwood. Michael Rife will serve as Head coach for the Sabers and be assisted by coaches Nathan Speelman, Joel Trimmer, and Craig Moore. Jason Walbridge will be involved all web design and Internet Marketing, while Cindy Dennison and Christina Huges will be handling all sales and marketing for the team. Brittany Belcher will be handeling all Public and player Relations. Troy Foster will doing the recruiting for the sabers.

The team practices at Fisher Catholic in Lancaster every Monday and Thursday at 5:30
